John "Greg" Seymour, a dedicated educator and passionate lover of nature and the sea, passed away on October 18th, 2023, surrounded by his beloved family.

 

Throughout his 40-year teaching career in the Capistrano Unified School District, Greg inspired countless students with his enthusiasm for science and math, creating classrooms filled with treasures from his adventures.

 

His unwavering love for the ocean and commitment to community service defined his life, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.

In honor of Greg's memory, the Seymour Family has established a memorial endowment fund through The Cal Poly University Scholarship Foundation.
